Zenely’s Care Team Takes Part in First Aid Training

As part of our commitment to ongoing professional development, members of Zenely’s care team attended a First Aid training seminar on 20 June at Chiron Hall in Paiania, led by trainers from KIDS SAVE LIVES.
The training was an important experience for our team. Participants had the opportunity to learn about and practise essential First Aid principles so that they can respond more calmly and appropriately if an emergency occurs.
Why this matters to us
Zenely’s services remain strictly non-medical. Our work focuses on social care, companionship, accompaniment and support with the everyday lives of older people.
However, when a care professional is supporting an older person, it is important that they are able to remain calm, recognise a possible emergency and follow the correct steps until appropriate help arrives.
At Zenely, training is not a formality. It is part of our philosophy. We expect the people who enter our clients’ homes to demonstrate kindness, discretion and consistency, together with the responsibility needed to respond seriously and calmly in every situation.
